Featured Camp of the Day: Summer History Camp at History Colorado Center
Join History Colorado as an employee! Find out what goes on behind-the-scenes of a large museum. Campers will become “employees” of the museum and travel back in time to investigate the stories of our state. Exclusive access to the museum’s various departments such as design and production, collections, exhibit design, rese…arch library and the restaurant will be part of the week. Campers will receive a junior museum ID badge, handle artifacts not available to the public, assist exhibit designers with a new exhibit and investigate Colorado’s people and places in the museum’s research library. Each day of camp will also include a time travel adventure to a different time and place in our state’s history.
July 14-July 18 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Entering grades 3-5
